Yes I'm still alive

I'm sorry it's been way too long since my last update. It's been a very busy couple of weeks. Here are some highlights

  • Had 2 trips to Oregon, both were very fun. The first weekend was for sarah's 21st birthday. We had a great time with her family. The last one was for a friend's wedding. I was a groomsman, and will never understand why they got married on Apple Cup weekend being a die hard husky fan, but it was a great ceremony.
  • Youth committee meeting went well, both mission trips got approved so definately excited about that
  • Had a long stupid Council meeting, but nothing new there.
  • Went to a dessert with the sr. pastor and the area director of young life to see how our church can partner with him.
  • Should have done a lot of school work but didn't (I'm now updating instead of writing a 10 page paper)
  • We started the Quest last night for high school. Quest is a 4 week high program outreach series designed for them to bring friends. We had 5 new people come, so that was awesome. It was a great night with lots of energy.
  • Jr. High Turkey Dinner went very well. 16 jr. highers eating lots and lots of food.

It's been a crazy few weeks, so it's very nice having a relaxing week. I can get started on some more future planning stuff, and really get a lot of that out of the way when I don't have weekly program. Well, don't know what else to say back to my paper.

Appreciate the update Brad.
It's good to know specifics to pray for.
Blessings your way.

Hey!
I am going to Oregon again!! The Wallowas. Going to find some snow! (not the kind on the side of the highway that makes us put on chains though!)

Glad you updated. Ditto on all the school work that should have been done earlier. Two are due this Sunday at midnight. (Way worse than a wedding on Apple Cup weekend, papers due on a holiday weekend!)I'll be praying for your ability to quickly form coherent thoughts and write them into an engaging, impressive paper.

The Quest sounds great. What are
the draws? Great idea to have a JH Turkey Dinner. The church we have started to attend just had one for their HS youth - it was formal!

Have a good week! Or two, at the rate you update!
Kellie
