I've been working too long

I just wrote the sentence for my sermon

The situation starts with God seeing Moses in the Burning Bush.

Wow!

A quick update, the last two days have been very good. Lots of coffee convos with teens and a great game of football. Even Nate Noble came down. I'm very very sore today, but good times!
Back to my sermon then applebees in a few

Christmas

Ha. Well I don't know where to begin. I can say I had the most memorable, adventurous Christmas I have had. To start we spent most of the weekend down with Sarah's parents south of Salem. The plan was to leave there this morning and make it to my parents early afternoon. Well didn't quite work according to plan. Here's the play by play!
9:15 Left Jefferson
9:21 Realized we forgot a coat went back
9:30 Left Jefferson the 2nd time
10:15 Front Left Tire blows in Brooks (north of Salem
10:20 Very nice man stopped to help us. Every Christmas and Thanksgiving he travels I-5 between Salem and Portland just helping people.
10:25 Nice man couldn't get lugnuts off, so he calls his brother to come down and help
10:30 Brother makes it, tire Changed. Very nice guys
10:40 On the Road again with the spare (traveling no more than 55-60 with the tire)
12:50 Front Right Tire blows in Vader (20 miles south of Centralia) (No Spare because it's on the left front tire)
1:00 Call AAA (my subscription started today, thank you mom and dad for the membership for Christmas)
1:10 Make the decision to tow my van all the way to my apartment
1:45 Tow Truck Driver Shows up. The guy was very nice and the spittin image of Larry the Cable Guy
2:20 AAA calls back makes sure we are on the road! Very nice thing
2:50 Make it to Apartment
3:15 Get in Sarah's car head to my parents
4:10 Finally make it to my parents!
4:30 Open Presents and Eat lunch
5:10 Cousin shows up
6:30 Dinner
7:30 My uncle shows up
8:00 Open more presents and eat dessert
9:00 Pack up
9:10 Hit the road again
9:50 Hear awful rattling sound in the right side. Think it's another tire, but turns out it's a stick caught in the door.
10:15 Home to relax
What a day, but it went as good as possible. Everything could have been a lot worse so definately God was in control and it makes for a great sermon illustration. (Dec. 31 10:00am hope you come!) I hope everyone had a very merry (and less adventurous) Christmas

I'm alive

Sorry for the lack of blogging. It's been a crazy few weeks. I'm really excited about the Christmas break. School is done for the semester, so that's very good. I've also been hanging out with lots of students outside of chruch so that has been great. Things are going well but a few things to be praying for.

I'm preaching Dec. 31, could definately use prayer for that and my preperation for that

Pray for a semi-counseling situation I'm dealing with.

Pray that leaders will step up. We have several holes to fill in the next few weeks

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, things are good, but very busy. I'll try to update more soon, Have a Great Christmas!
